Grotto Pizzeria, FiDi, New York, NY

I ate at Grotto Pizzeria twice, and both times I had a bad experience. First, I got a fresh mozzarella and tomato slice. It was dry and tasteless, and seemed to be old judging by the texture. A week later, I tried their riceball parmesan. It was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like the chef put an entire cup of garlic powder into it (and I like garlic, but this was crazy). My old coworkers liked it a lot, so maybe they have other stuff on the menu that's better. But I'll never go back there.
